Expectations.

September 11, 2008

We can set our expectations for ourselves too low or perhaps even too high.

Fulfillment of these expectations is what separates the good from the great.

I believe that every individual has the potential to be great.

However, utilizing potential as individuals is also what separates the good from the great.

Not everyone has utilized their potential in a way as to exceed the expectations.

Before we can progress and meet/exceed our expectations, we must evaluate our current standing.

What are some of your expectations? How can you facilitate an increase of potential? Which areas are lacking the desire to meet/exceed your expectations?

I have a great friend, Brewster, who once told me to be great. I repeat the same to you, be great.

Survivng the Subculture.

September 11, 2008

These days there are so many variances in our subcultures.

How does one choose which one he/she feels is best?

Make a decision, adapt, and pursue what is more appealing to YOU.

Some people have the audacity to ignore the opinions of others concerning style.

When we will live when perception doesn’t rule our lives?

Creativity.

September 11, 2008

Creativity is what inspires us to be unique from all the others, what makes us different.

The question I have is simple: why NOT be different?

BTW, those guys always seem to get it right. [Song: Bruises by Chairlift]

*Note: the release date for the Chairlift album was shown as being Nov 11, 2008. I have since then notified the representative of iTunes regarding that matter.
